Dark seas roar below
Crash the walls of my heart
Sailing broken seas
Bleakness drowns the sunlight
Soundless birds fly past
Greying worlds out of view
Colours melting to black
Compass points to loneliness
Insignificant little soul
In her boat made for one
Bounces on the black crest
Darkness rolls to darkness more
Horizons of penetrating night
Steadfast on a broken course
At the mercy of the storm
Drifting lifeless along the shore
Her story never changing
Her cruise never ending
She almost gives up....
Upon the rocks of salvation life
The vigilant soul awaits
Scouring blackened seas
Casting glares of light upon the dark
Encasing all from the gloom
Harbouring the steady shore
Drawing her to shallow waters
Upon a calming wave
Her lighthouse
Shines forever more.........
